Why it matters
The business is theirs to run
Twice a year, Benicia Girl Scouts run their own small businesses. They set goals, take orders, handle money, talk to customers, and decide together how to spend what they earn. The Girl Scout Cookie Program is the largest girl-led entrepreneurial program in the world.
Every purchase stays close to home. Proceeds fund troop activities, travel, service projects, camp, and the experiences the girls choose for themselves — including our own Fall Camporee.
Two programs
Cookies and Fall Product
-
Girl Scout Cookie Program
Cookie season runs in the winter — the one most people know. Thin Mints, Caramel deLites, a gluten-free option, booths around town, and personalized online shops.
Cookie Program -
Fall Product Program
Nuts, chocolates, magazine subscriptions and more each autumn, arriving in time for the holidays. The 2026 program runs September 28 – October 25. Questions: fall.sales@beniciagirlscouts.com.
Fall Product Program
What they learn
Five skills, twice a year
Both programs are built around the same five skills. Girl Scouts practice them at whatever level fits — a Daisy counting boxes and an Ambassador managing a booth schedule are learning the same things.
- Goal setting — deciding what the troop is working toward, and what it takes to get there.
- Decision making — choosing on their own and as a team.
- Money management — building a budget and handling real money.
- People skills — finding their voice with customers.
- Business ethics — acting honestly, in business and out of it.

We support Benicia troops and families through both programs — timelines, training, materials, booths, and anything that comes up mid-season.
